Comune di Verona (VeronaCard) · Collect by the Arena, Verona
The city's own sightseeing pass gets you into the Arena past the queue, plus Juliet's House, the Lamberti Tower, Castelvecchio, the churches and the city museums, with free urban buses for 24 or 48 hours. Pick it if you'll see four or more sights in a day; it pays off fast.

The VeronaCard is the city council's own pass. The 24-hour or 48-hour card covers free entry to the Arena (by the priority line), Juliet's House and balcony, the Lamberti Tower, Castelvecchio, the Basilica of San Zeno, the Duomo complex, Sant'Anastasia, the Roman Theatre's archaeological museum, the Scaliger Tombs and more, plus reduced entry to Giardino Giusti and a few private museums. It also covers the ATV urban buses and comes with an audio-guide app.
The maths is easy. The regional tourism site lists EUR 27 for 24 hours and EUR 32 for 48 hours; from $37 on GetYourGuide includes the platform's service and a voucher you swap at the pick-up point. Arena adult entry alone is EUR 12, so the card pays for itself with the Arena, the Lamberti Tower and Juliet's House. Under-18s don't need a card at all: entry to the civic museums is free for them.
Three catches. Several sights close on Mondays, including the Arena and Juliet's House, and one reviewer only found out after buying. Juliet's House needs a time slot booked through the city museums' website even with the card. And the card is a daytime pass: it doesn't include any opera, and on festival days the Arena closes to visitors early. For an opera night, buy on arena.it.
The voucher arrives in the GetYourGuide app. Pick the option for 24 or 48 hours.
Exchange the voucher at the pick-up point; guests say the booth is right by the Arena, so you can start there.
Reserve your Juliet's House entry on the city museums' website. The card covers the ticket, not the slot.
Show the card at each sight and on the city buses.
On opera days the Arena closes to visitors in the afternoon; go in the morning.
★★★★★Excellent value … we crammed 6 or 7 visits into one day, so the pass saved a fair bit. Recommend if you are blitzing the sights!
★★★★★Really good value for money and definitely worth getting it you're in Verona. Pick up booth is right by the arena so you can use it straight away.
★★★★★Great value. Includes entry to lots of the main sights and discount off others. I’d recommend the Verona Tourist Train. €4 per person with the Verona card for a 25 minute tour around all the main sights with an audio guide.
★★★★★Allowed us to see Verona's main sites and save money. We also used the buses around Verona using the card.
