Booking choice: The opera concert in Palazzo dei Mutilati, from $73 per person. Check dates Tour details
Each autumn the Arena sells the next summer at a lower price for a few weeks. For 2027 the official rate table has a column called "Early booking until 04.11.26". From 5 November the same seats go back to the standard price.
Here is what the discount covers, how much it saves in each sector, and how to make sure you are buying from the Arena and not from a reseller.
The quick answer
Until 4 November 2026, regular 2027 opera nights cost EUR 7 to EUR 20 less in most sectors: a 1st Sector Stalls seat is EUR 165 instead of EUR 180, the 6th sector steps EUR 28 instead of EUR 35. Premieres, the opening, ballet, galas, concerts, Aida on 7 August and Nabucco on 15 August are excluded, and the three top stall categories cost the same either way. Buy only on shop.arena.it or the Arena's other official channels.
What is the Arena di Verona early-booking deadline for 2027?
Wednesday 4 November 2026. From Thursday 5 November the standard 2027 prices apply.
The discount applies to opera on "other dates", the Arena's term for every opera night that is not an opening or a premiere. That means 33 evenings across the two Aidas, La Traviata, Carmen and Nabucco. The offer is printed in the price list, not in a separate promotion, so there is no code: the shop shows the lower price until the deadline.
The Arena gives a date and no time. Do not leave it to the evening of the 4th; book by the 3rd and you avoid any argument with a server clock in Italy.
How much do you save in each sector?
Between EUR 2 and EUR 20 per ticket. The middle of the house saves most; Platinum Premium, Platinum and Gold save nothing.
The biggest cut is EUR 20 in 1st Sector Stalls Silver, followed by the EUR 17 off Silver Easy, the stalls seats with an upholstered back. Stalls, 2nd Stalls and the Tribune save EUR 10 to EUR 15. On the steps the saving shrinks to EUR 2 or EUR 3 in the 4th and 5th sectors, though the cheapest seat in the house, the 6th sector, drops from EUR 35 to EUR 28, a fifth off.
For two people in the stalls that is EUR 30. Pleasant, not life-changing. The stronger reason to book now is choice: in October you still pick from almost the whole map. Our seating guide explains which sectors are worth it.
| Sector (EUR, full price) | Early booking | From 5 Nov 2026 | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1st Sector Stalls Platinum Premium | 345 | 345 | 0 |

Which performances are excluded from early booking?
The opening, the five premieres, every ballet, gala and concert, plus Aida on Saturday 7 August and Nabucco on Sunday 15 August.
The last two are the August holiday weekend, Ferragosto, when Italians fill the Arena and the Fondazione keeps the standard price. Everything priced as a gala or ballet is outside the offer too: Romeo and Juliet, Roberto Bolle, Viva Vivaldi, Paganini Paradise and Carmina Burana. The Jonas Kaufmann evening on 8 August is priced as a premiere.
If your dates are flexible, the table below shows how many early-booking nights each opera has. Our post on the 2027 programme lists every date.
| Production | Early-booking nights | Excluded nights |
|---|---|---|
| Aida, ed. 1913 | 7 | 12 Jun (opening), 7 Aug |
| La Traviata | 9 | 25 Jun (premiere) |
| Carmen | 9 | 2 Jul (premiere) |
| Nabucco | 4 | 29 Jul (premiere), 15 Aug |
| Aida, ed. Poda | 4 | 12 Aug (premiere) |
| Ballet, galas, concerts | 0 | All 11 nights |
Do the U30, over-65 and family rates change on 4 November?
The reduced U30 and over-65 prices drop slightly during early booking too. The EUR 30 U30 stalls seat and the family rate stay the same all year.
Under-30s and over-65s (photo ID at the gate) get a reduced price list, and it has an early-booking column of its own: Tribune EUR 112 instead of EUR 125, 1st Sector Verdi EUR 105 instead of EUR 115, the 6th sector steps EUR 23 instead of EUR 25. These reduced rates, the U30 deal and the family tickets can be bought online; for group, school and disability rates you contact the Arena.
The two headline offers do not depend on the deadline. Under-30s can buy a limited 2nd Sector Stalls U30 seat at EUR 30, backed by UniCredit, with no Saturdays, openings or premieres and four tickets at most. The Family Tribune costs EUR 2.50 for each child born on or after 1 January 2013, with an accompanying adult at EUR 68, up to six tickets; the Arena says 2027 family tickets will be available soon. Disabled visitors (67% or more, or wheelchair users) and one companion pay the lowest full price.

How do you buy Arena tickets officially?
Online at shop.arena.it, by phone on +39 045 8005151, at the two box offices in Verona, or at a Vivaticket outlet.
The how-to-buy page lists four channels. Online, you pay by Visa, Mastercard or American Express and the tickets arrive as a PDF by email. The call centre works Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 18:00 and sends a payment link; a bank transfer must reach the Arena at least seven days before the show. In Verona, the box office at Via Dietro Anfiteatro 6/b opens Monday to Friday 10:30 to 16:00 and Saturday 9:15 to 12:45 out of season; the one at Via Roma 1 keeps longer winter hours, closed on Mondays.
Check the URL before you pay: it should be shop.arena.it. Search ads for "Arena di Verona tickets" often lead to resale sites that look official.
Why should you avoid resold Arena tickets?
Because the Arena forbids resale without its authorisation and can cancel the ticket and refuse you at the gate.
The Arena's rule is blunt: it is "prohibited to purchase tickets and then to resell them to third parties", even at face value, unless its official sales circuit authorises it. Irregular tickets can be cancelled and their holders denied entry. A resale site's guarantee does not get you through gate 8.
One more trap. GetYourGuide and Viator do not sell festival tickets, and nothing on this site is one. What they sell is Verona around the festival: the opera concert in Palazzo dei Mutilati, an hour of arias with a tenor, a mezzo and a pianist from $73, which runs year-round. The terms and conditions cover the rest, from the rain rules to the dress code; our tickets guide walks through them.

An hour of opera's best-known arias in an Art Deco palace near the Arena, with prosecco. Not a festival ticket: a concert of its own.
